This restaurant is open 24/7 and the location is very convenient with spacious parking area. The staffs are very lively and welcoming giving you the unparallel service even without asking. They refilled our hot tea everytime. The food are very tasty with generous servings. I recommend this place to try them out.

Same great food & service! Not the same great price!! Was shocked to see how much the prices have jumped from 5 years ago. This used to be our go to place for late night eats after Friday Night Hockey. All the dishes that were under 20 at #9 are now well over 20. There is also a 15% tip added to your bill for 6 or more people. The Pepper Salted Chicken Wings and Pork Chops are just good as ever. Waiter was super friendly even at 11:30pm at night. Will definitely be coming back. Just have to bring more money.

If you live in Vancouver, you must have heard of No.9 Restaurant, which is a famous and iconic Hong Kong cafe opening 24/7 in Richmond. We arrived Vancouver at 3am and drove straight to No.9 to satisfy our late night HK food cravings. Their menu is a thick chunky booklet and I was impressed by the insane variety of food they serve. No wonder it has been a neighborhood favorite for over two decades. I don’t really eat at late night, so I only had half of the sandwich and a few sips of the milk tea. The corned beef egg sandwich (鹹牛肉蛋治) is the best I’ve had in North America, comparable to those in Hong Kong. The bread was lightly toasted, and the scrambled egg was so fluffy and loaded with corned beef. HK style milk tea (港式奶茶) was rich and creamy. It came with a big glass so it justified the price. I was also craving for something hot and homey at midnight. I got the ginger steamed milk (薑汁燉雙皮奶), hoping it could recall the taste of my favorite cha chan tang (Australian Dairy Company) in HK. The texture was apparently not super silky and smooth, but good enough to cure my homesick.

Ahhh good ole No. 9 ... it's been at Landsdowne for decades it seems. My last visit was at least 10 years ago and honestly kudos to them as the food is still great, reasonable and tasty. Sadly these wonton noodles/cantonese style eateries are not as common as it once was within the lower mainland therefore it brought us to No.9 on a late night (it's opened 24 hours). It's definitely not as busy due to competing late night eateries such as Dolar Shop literally across the way but the bonus is the service is much more friendlier than it was back in the day. Our various wonton noodle bowls were tasty, of great quality and taste. Will definitely be back! PS Cash Only

Authentic Chinese Cantonese foods, i ordered one of my favourite congee, fried dark Soy sauce noodles, and spicy sour soup. Everything was perfect, served very quickly as soon as we sit down. Highly recommended if you are looking for a very good Chinese foods.

2019 Inexpensive, tasty Chinese food, quick service, generally no wait time. *Edit 2025* Wow have the prices gone up . Food is still good, portions seem smaller than before, service is still friendly, still quick service but menu items have gotten expensive, yikes. Sad to see this place isn’t as busy as it used to be, but I bet that is attributed to the increased prices I’d probably still come back, but if prices keep climbing, I think frequency of visits will also decrease.
